Who are we?
KCL Radio is the student radio station for King's College London, part of the University of London. As of Q4 2023, we are the most-listened-to student radio station in London.
KCL Radio is part of the London Network, which also comprises of:
Rare FM (UCL), IC Radio (Imperial), PuLSE Radio (LSE), Quest (QMUL) & Insanity (RHUL)
We are also one of the 65 members of the Student Radio Association (SRA)
Who's involved?
Every aspect of the station is run by KCL students - from presenting, producing to operations and administration. Everything is geared towards engaging with the student community at King's.

Anyone associated with the University (students, staff or associate members) can undertake training, and go on to produce and present shows, and in many cases join our friendly and flourishing KCL Radio committee.
What do we do?
We produce over 60 hours of high quality original programming every week during term time, all coordinated from our two studio complex in Central London's BBC Bush House.
Our radio shows cover diverse genres from mainstream Top 40 and chart music to specialist shows featuring blues, jazz, folk and country; and our podcasting ranges from politics, entertainment and history to sport commentating!
What events do we cover?
KCL Radio aims to run several large-scale outside broadcasts each year: sports events such as the London Varsity, as well as live coverage from gigs and festivals.
We hold socials for members and freshers, go on fully-expensed trips to the Radio Academy Festival, TechCon, and residential trips to the SRA Conference, and even do charity fundraisers — like our 2023 initiative for Comic Relief, successfully doing a 24-hour continuous live broadcast!
